Gather Magazine has been a project Jessica has been wanting to create since she could hold a pencil. Jessica has a polite obsession for all things design which has guided her throughout her extensive career as an Art Director, Graphic Designer and Photographer. A keen writer herself, Jessica has written for her own lifestyle blog, Foxes Blog, for nearly 10 years.
A champion of local business, Jessica has been the driving force behind multiple creative endeavours, including the successful Auckland Fair designers market and The Workroom online creative business resource. She has an extensive rap sheet in marketing, working alongside some of New Zealand’s most recognised brands in her previous advertising life.
Running Gather Magazine alongside her Mangawhai based design studio, Oh Gosh, has allowed Jessica to combine her love of beautiful content, photography and strong design to uplift businesses, in one stunning place. It is now through Gather Magazine, she creates an outlet that combines all her skills and design flair together in one place.
The future of Gather Magazine is a bright one, Jessica is dedicated to bringing our readers inspirational content that will get people excited about our beautiful slice of Northland. She is dedicated to working with inspiring people, passionate about what we do, each member of our team runs their own successful businesses alongside the work they do for Gather.
Ramari is a true Northlander. Originally from Whangarei, she has lived in Auckland, Wellington and throughout the Matakana Coast, and has now settled back into the north, tackling a pivotal role within Gather Magazine.
She brings a wealth of extensive sales experience to team Gather, with over 10 years of sales experience, and having previously worked with national brands such as NZ Post and Lexus Nexis. Ramari thrives on problem solving and relationship building, she is a champion for Gather Magazine advertisers, always looking to see where we can help.
Being able to live in her home area and work with a brand like Gather is a dream come true for Ramari. It allows her to incorporate her passions for design, fashion and business with the lifestyle we all love here in Northland.
Kirsty showed wordy tendencies from a young age. Her stories bled off A5 exercise books and she never skimped on adjectives or drama. Fast-forward to now and she’s taken that passion to cool places, with her copywriting business, Dot Writes. Kirsty has two decades of marketing and advertising experience behind her, backed by a love of our region and the fascinating people within it.
Prior to fulltime writing, Kirsty held marketing and strategy roles with Fonterra and other NZ household brands. She spent more than six years in advertising, working on global brands in account management positions – Auckland, Christchurch and London.
Her freelance role within Gather is a writer’s dream, an opportunity to celebrate local people over a collection of punchy words.
Chantelle Campbell has developed her extensive career around her passion for food. She has been part of the food industry for over 14 years, and was the Catering Manager for her family’s successful Auckland based corporate catering business for 7 years.
In 2016, Chantelle and her family made the shift to beautiful Mangawhai, bringing along her love for food and an excitement for sharing her unique offering with the area. She now operates the hugely in demand and highly popular business, Food by Chantelle.
Chantelle is passionate about the amazing local produce our region boasts, and loves to only feature the best ingredients from across our region. She incorporates these unique flavours into her demonstrations, catering and cooking lessons, and now is sharing those passions for taste with Gather Magazine readers as our freelance Food Editor.
Based in Whangarei, Adrian is an accomplished photographer. He has a clean, fresh style and works with local & international brands, generating beautiful content.

Kelly is passionate about beautiful homes and spaces, she writes for her nationally recognised blog, the Home Scene Journal, and is excited to share her finds with our readers.

Dalong is a Mechanical Engineer living a double life as a photographer. He shoots fashion, product, food, automotive and events, and is passionate about sustainability.
Writing for some of NZ’s top magazines, Holly is based in Auckland running her own marketing agency. She has a long love affair with our region, growing up here as a child, and loves her Northland roots.
